Privacy Policy

Stoxora is a learning game, so we keep data collection small on purpose. This page explains what we hold, why we hold it, and how to get rid of it.

What we collect

• Your email address and password. Needed to create your account, confirm it and sign you back in. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider; we never see them.
• Your answers to the onboarding questions — experience level, goal, interests and risk appetite. Used to pick the tone and content of your AI guide.
• Your practice activity — simulated cash, holdings, trades with the thesis and confidence you wrote, XP, level, streak and daily challenge claims.
• Your confirmation that you meet the age requirement and the version of the Terms you accepted, recorded at signup.
• Counts of AI briefings generated, so we can cap what the service spends.

We do not ask for your real name, date of birth, address, phone number or any payment details. Stoxora has no adverts and no advertising trackers.

Why we can use it

We process this data to provide the service you asked for, and to keep it secure and affordable to run. Where consent is the basis — for example the age and terms confirmation at signup — you can withdraw it by deleting your account.

Who else sees it

• Supabase hosts our database and handles authentication.
• Vercel hosts and serves the application.
• Resend sends your confirmation email.
• Anthropic writes the AI briefings. We send it market facts and your general profile (experience level, goal, interests, risk appetite) — never your email address.
• Alpaca supplies market prices. Requests go from our server, so Alpaca does not receive anything about you.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Delete the account and the profile, holdings, trades and briefings tied to it go with it.

Learners under 18

Stoxora is for people 13 and over, and under-18s need a parent or guardian's agreement. We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it and its data.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@stoxora.com from the address on the account and we will action it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator.

Cookies

Stoxora sets a session cookie so you stay signed in. That is the only cookie we use — no analytics or advertising cookies.
